default-thumbAn appreciative stance in leadership is a powerful and provocative self practice. We are just back from British Columbia where we worked in community with a group of education leaders deeply committed to pulling appreciative inquiry into their daily practice of leadership. Each member of the workshop had read “Appreciative Inquiry in Higher Education: A Transformative Force” before the retreat and we felt as facilitators that this enhanced the experience and opened up a more in-depth exploration of how AI can be used within the workplace, for planning and for co-leadership.
